Accommodation on the Pilgrim Routes and Cultural Streets
The organization of accommodation presents a special challenge. In this task, we are completely dependent on the local authorities and church communities on the routes. It can be considered almost impossible to carry out a pilgrimage without at least a roof over your head. Not much is needed to provide suitable sleeping quarters for pilgrims - from each council or church, as little as one room with a few mattresses and a small toilet with sink and shower. Often, any multi-purpose room or hall will suffice. Summer is always the main time for pilgrimages, and school halls can also be used for accommodation. We will gladly assist any organizations interested in setting up pilgrim accommodation along the routes.
At this point, we would like to thank all those who have made accommodation available to us, and also to offer our help and support to anyone else who may be able to offer accommodation in future.
Will I find a place to sleep every night?
