goals. The LightFoot Guide to the via Francigena consists of two books (Volumes 1/2) that together cover the entire length of the via Francigena. The route given is
based on the Topofrancigena from Canterbury to Great St-Bernard (Ed. 2004 by Mrs Adelaide Trezzeni of the Association Internationale via Francigena). The entire distance has been GPS traced and divided into manageable sections of approximately 25 kilometres, with accommodation (where it exists) listed for the entire length of the section.
The guide looks excellent. There is much more route information and detail than I had expected and the maps in and out of towns are a great help. With all the work you have done and the information you are providing, future pilgrims on the Via Francigena will not need to be the explorers they have had to be until now.”
