Accommodation on the way to Assisi
Finding pilgrim accommodation on the way to Assisi can be considered exceptionally rare. Hotels and pensions are normally used by the pilgrims here - costs range between 20 and 40 euros per person per night. Pilgrims are seldom accepted, but often rejected by monasteries. Cheaper accommodation can be found shortly before arriving at Assisi. The last three nights cost around 20-40 Euros per night.
The accommodation between Assisi and Rome is also expensive. At the moment, work is being carried out to build affordable pilgrim accommodation in the Rieti region.
